Committees

NGVAmerica represents carries out its mission under the direction of member-driven committees. Reporting to the NGVAmerica Board of Directors are three committees that provide direction and conduct programs on behalf of the members. The committees are governments affairs, market development and PR/communications.

• Government Affairs Committee
  Educates policymakers, lawmakers and regulators regarding the benefits of NGVs and hydrogen-powered vehicles. Develops targeted federal and state legislative initiatives that create market-drivers and build demand for NGVs and hydrogen-powered vehicles.
• Market Development Committee
  Defines and guides the national marketing efforts of the gaseous-fueled vehicle industry through the NGVAmerica. Develops and provides tools, materials and other support to member companies to improve the effectiveness of their local marketing and sales efforts. Provides a forum for member company marketing and sales personnel to receive and exchange information about natural gas- and hydrogen-powered vehicles.
• PR and Communications Committee
  Provides accurate, strategic and timely information, tools, and communication to members, key constituents, the media, and market participants and develop the necessary public awareness and education to create demand for and/or understanding of the natural gas- and hydrogen-powered vehicle industries.
